STAZIONE MARITTIMA PROJECT involves expanding the current facility at the Port of Palermo to cater to cruise passengers. The new addition is a one-story pavilion featuring expansive glass walls and a gracefully curved roof that mirrors the forms of waves and boats.

The pavilion has reinforced concrete piled foundations and a ground floor slab below the dock level. The design's focus on adaptability prompted the use of a steel superstructure with bolted connections, allowing for easy disassembly when necessary.
